Comprehensive Terms of Service Policies
Governing Training, Translation, Interpretation, and Language Staffing services.

Wissens World operates as a multi-disciplinary language service provider. By engaging our services, you agree to the following terms applicable to your specific service category.
1. Privacy & Legal Disclosure
In compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, we treat all client data, student records, and source documents with strict confidentiality.
1.1. Data Usage & Disclosure
We do not sell or lease your data to third-party marketing agencies. However, we reserve the right to disclose personal information if required by law, such as to government or law enforcement authorities on request.
1.2. NDAs
For corporate translation and interpretation assignments, standard Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) are signed by our linguists as a mandatory requirement.
2. Language Training & Exam Services
- Refund Grace Period: Training fee refund requests are accepted if made within 45 days of payment or before the 3rd session (whichever is earlier).Refer Terms and Conditions page for details.
- Exam Registration: For external exams (IELTS, TOEFL, Goethe-Zertifikat), Wissens World acts as a facilitator for exam registration not its conducting body. Registration fees are subject to the respective exam board's refund policies and are typically non-refundable once processed.
- Batch Validity: Courses must be completed within the stipulated duration. Extensions are subject to management approval and may incur additional costs.
3. Translation & Localization
- Source Content: Clients must provide legible source documents. Wissens World is not responsible for errors arising from illegible or ambiguous source text.
- Turnaround Time (TAT): Delivery dates are estimates. While we strive for 100% on-time delivery, technical or complexity-related delays will be communicated in advance.
- Revisions: Minor revisions are offered free of charge within 7 days of delivery. Substantial changes to the source text after the project has started will incur extra costs. It may be treated as an extension or entirely new project.
4. Interpretation Services
- Booking & Cancellation: On-site or remote interpretation requires 48-hour advance booking. Cancellations within 24 hours of the event attract a 50% "Cancellation Fee."
- Technical Support: For Remote Simultaneous Interpretation (RSI), clients are responsible for stable internet connectivity and platform licenses unless otherwise agreed.
- Equipment: Any physical equipment (booths, headsets) provided by us is the client's responsibility for the duration of the event.
5. Language Staffing & Outsourcing
- Direct Hiring: Clients are prohibited from directly hiring or soliciting "Wissens World" contracted language experts for a period of 12 months post-engagement without a prior "Buy-out" agreement.
- Payroll & Compliance: Wissens World manages all statutory compliances for outsourced staff. Clients are responsible for providing a safe working environment.
6. General Code of Conduct
Whether in a classroom, at a client site for interpretation, or interacting with our translation managers:
- Zero Tolerance: We maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards bullying, harassment, or discriminatory behavior across all service interactions.
- Intellectual Property: All training methodologies and proprietary translation memories remain the intellectual property of Wissens World.
